What makes a good comment? Anyone know? A good comment is not a one line comment, or even a one word comment! Now, I'm not sayin to go into a full on critique, but try and give the most feedback you possibly can. In todays tutorial, I'm going to teach you how!

Have you ever heard of EBI and WWW? WWW stands for What Went Well. In a comment, it is often essential to use WWW. Example:
I really love the tone on the characters jacket.
EBI stands for Even Better If. In a comment, this element is pretty much ideal. Example:
Perhaps you could have added slightly more texture in the dogs fur, just to make it more realistic.

This section will show you want a good, constructive comment looks like and and some variations of bad comments:
Good Comment:
Firstly, I'd like to start of by saying 'Wow...'. The tone in the girls hair is amazing, as is the texture. Her expression is so believable. You have really done a fantastic job on this.
I'd like to add that the pose doesn't quite seem correct, perhaps the body is to strained towards the right, or maybe its the fact that the body looks slightly too small for the head. I am unsure if that was your intention, if so, perhaps you should add a note to the Artists Comments.
Nevertheless, you have done a truly spectacular job with this one! I can't wait to see some more of your work!

Bad Comment:
2-I dont like the hair, or the eyes. You are either a horrible photographer who has terribly edited this photo or that model is very ugly. Whats good about it you ask? Nothing much, apart from the left leg. It looks fairly correct.
Take my advice, move on from photgraphy...

Compare the comments. The last one is horribly insulting, and is not constructive at all. Don't write like that, it is pointless and fairy mean. The second one, although its not insulting, it is useless in the sense as it is not very constructive and is not something the deviant will appreciate. The first one, however, has all the elements. Opinion, WWW, EBI and conclusion. Also a bit of reason too. Try to sway your comments towards the style of the first example.

That's it for now, see you through the screen'

Maybe I'm missing something, but would it be possible for you to number all the comments... as it is unclear which comment you are referring to as the first comment... The actual first comment as listed under "Good Comment", or the first comment labelled with a "1" under "Bad comments"? Would appreciate it if you could clear up the ambiguity.
